Inspired by a very good friend who used to lack confidence on herself, sometimes insecure to show to the world her natural beauty and sensuality. One day, I was looking at some pictures I have taken of her, where she was expressing a confident attitude on who she really is, I took it as an inspiration to do this portrait of her. Many people we feel unconfident of our looks, relying on third ones to get support and fill our lack of confidence, which usually is a tricky dynamic. My humble intention with this artwork was for her to look at it, hopefully, everyday and acknowledge one of the best versions of herself and stop doubting of the unique light that she irradiates into this Universe, as each of us do too.
