During 2019 I used to have a personal ritual to go every month to look at the Full Moonrise at another fav spot in Noosa, Sunrise Beach. From that year, probably June’s Full Moonrise was the one that stayed in me the most. Ocean and sky were saturated with icy sunset winter colours. Water was so still that seemed almost like a lagoon. Surfers stoped and were floating sitting on their boards to behold such beauty. The scenery made me feel so lucky to be standing on my own two feet and have good eyes to watch what was in front of me, being part of it. At Noosa, every year, from June to September whales go to visit. Few months later, after I started to work on this painting I had the chance to see the whales across the sea for another Full Moonrise. To have witnessed all that makes me wonder, how sacred is this land, how sacred is all this world, how we have forgotten to learn from nature? *To ask permission to walk with respect on this unique planet, to honor it as our ancient ancestors did. How we can change the unconscious suicidal attitude that we have? To me LOVE is the only way.* It was a challenge to finish this artwork. At some stage I got so judgemental about it, that I forgot why I made it for on first place. I am still trying my best to get rid of judgemental attitudes that are no longer useful for me and make me stuck in fear. To work on myself with love is my little and humble contribution to perhaps make a bit better this world for now.
