In 2018, I was lucky enough to find this lovely place to live for a year in the dunes of Noosa Heads. Casa Bleu is a magical place, full of secret corners, art, wisdom, beauty and more. It has an amazing, perfumed and exuberant garden. The house it is mostly build in timberwood, decorated in a exquisite way with treasures from the owner’s traveling. During my stay at Casa Bleu I had a scooter accident. My physical and spiritual healing took place over here. Afterwards for my dear friend’s (the house owner’s) birthday, she was diagnosed with cancer. The place and circumstances deeply inspired me to do this artwork as a gift for her. My humble intention with this artwork was that whenever she was feeling down, specially under treatment, she would stare at the drawing and maybe find hope and cheer-up her soul in the contemplation of this colourful scenery. A year after she overcame from the cancer, her spirit was glowing again, she bravely did conventional treatment and supported herself on the spiritual way.
